The Garmin Forerunner 945 is a smartwatch designed for runners and athletes. It has a long battery life, with up to 2 weeks in smartwatch mode and 10 hours in GPS mode with music. It is made with high-performance materials, including a silicone band and Corning® Gorilla® Glass DX lens.

The watch features Garmin Coach, which provides adaptive training plans with guidance from expert coaches. It also has built-in sports apps for a variety of activities, including cycling, swimming, and elliptical workouts.

The Forerunner 945 has wrist-based heart rate monitoring, which provides heart rate data and alerts if your heart rate stays too high or too low. It also measures running dynamics, including cadence, stride length, and ground contact time, when used with a compatible accessory.

Additional features include a Pulse Ox sensor for advanced sleep monitoring and altitude acclimation, Body Battery™ energy monitoring to track your body's energy levels, and sleep score and advanced sleep monitoring to evaluate your sleep quality. The watch also has women's health tracking, music storage, Garmin Pay contactless payment, smart notifications, and safety and tracking features like LiveTrack and incident detection.
