vivo X100 Pro, set to be released in November 2023, is a flagship smartphone with an impressive set of features across various aspects such as design, display, performance, camera capabilities, and battery life.

The Vivo X100 Pro has a sleek and premium design with dimensions of 164.1 x 75.3 x 8.9 mm (or 9.1 mm) and weighs either 221 g or 225 g. The phone is designed with a dual Nano-SIM slot and boasts IP68 dust/water resistance, allowing it to withstand submersion in up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes. This feature adds durability and reliability to the device.

The device features a large 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels, resulting in a high pixel density of approximately 453 ppi. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth interactions and a vivid viewing experience. With 3000 nits peak brightness, the screen is capable of delivering vibrant and sharp visuals even in bright outdoor conditions.

The vivo X100 Pro runs on Android 14, with Funtouch 14 for the international market and OriginOS 4 for the Chinese market. It is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 9300 chipset built on a 4nm process. The octa-core CPU configuration, including the powerful Cortex-X4 cores, promises efficient multitasking and high-performance capabilities. The Immortalis-G720 MC12 GPU enhances the gaming and graphics experience.

The smartphone offers multiple storage configurations, including 256GB with 12GB RAM, 256GB with 16GB RAM, 512GB with 16GB RAM, and an impressive 1TB with 16GB RAM. The inclusion of UFS 4.0 technology ensures fast data transfer and app loading times.

The main camera setup is a triple configuration, featuring three 50 MP lenses with varying focal lengths. This includes a wide-angle lens, a periscope telephoto lens with 4.3x optical zoom, and an ultrawide lens. The Zeiss optics and T* lens coating, combined with advanced features like PDAF, Laser AF, and OIS, promise excellent photo and video capabilities. The camera supports 8K, 4K, and 1080p video recording, along with gyro-EIS and Cinematic mode at 4K.

The front-facing selfie camera is a 32 MP lens with HDR support, catering to users who prioritize high-quality self-portraits.

The vivo X100 Pro features a loudspeaker and supports high-quality audio with 24-bit/192kHz audio output. However, the absence of a 3.5mm headphone jack may be a drawback for users who prefer wired audio connections. In terms of connectivity, the device supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6/7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and Infrared. The inclusion of various positioning systems ensures accurate location tracking.

The smartphone is equipped with a Li-Po battery with a capacity of either 5260 mAh or 5400 mAh, providing a balance between power and device weight. The 100W wired charging capability is a standout feature, allowing users to charge from 1% to 50% in just 12 minutes, as advertised. Additionally, the 50W wireless charging and reverse wired charging options offer flexibility in charging preferences.

The vivo X100 Pro includes a variety of sensors such as an under-display optical fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity sensor, compass, and color spectrum sensor, contributing to an enhanced user experience.

The device is available in Black, White, Blue, and Orange color options, offering users a range of choices to suit their preferences.

In conclusion, the Vivo X100 Pro appears to be a well-rounded flagship smartphone, catering to users who prioritize a high-quality display, powerful performance, advanced camera capabilities, and fast charging options. However, user preferences may vary, and it's essential to consider individual needs and priorities when evaluating this device.
