This week, the fantasy online RPG Ascent Quest was officially unveiled, promising an immersive virtual reality experience across multiple VR platforms.

Developed by Farworld Studio, Ascent Quest transports players to the legendary world of Aelys, a vast realm in need of saving for mysterious reasons yet to be revealed.
Key Features:
Play solo or team up with up to 4 players in cooperative multiplayer.
Explore a sprawling open world filled with dungeons, fearsome monsters, and interactive NPCs.
Engage in advanced combat featuring dodging, parrying, spellcasting, and a wide variety of weapons.
According to the official Discord page, Ascent Quest plans an Early Access launch between mid and late 2026 for PCVR and PSVR2, followed by a full release in 2027. A version for Quest 3 is scheduled for release thereafter.
