Developer CharacterBank has announced that Ruinsmagus will soon receive a new update adding leg tracking support for Pico VR headsets, enhancing immersion with full-body movement.
New Levels of Immersion with Pico Motion Sensors
Originally launched in Summer 2022 for Meta Quest and SteamVR, Ruinsmagus later expanded to PS VR2, Vive, and Pico platforms. Since launch, the game has seen steady support through voice-over additions in multiple languages, DLC expansions, and performance updates.
Now, Ruinsmagus is getting a final major update designed specifically for Pico Neo 3, Pico 4, and Pico 4 Ultra. This update introduces leg tracking via Pico motion sensors, allowing players to walk in place and see their real-time leg movements reflected in-game while exploring dungeons and casting spells.
This follows similar leg-tracking support recently added to Attack on Titan: Unbreakable on Pico headsets.
Release Date Still Unconfirmed
While a release date hasn’t been officially announced, a preview build of the update was showcased at BitSummit—a major indie game event held in Kyoto, Japan—hinting at a launch later this year.
Ruinsmagus is currently available on Meta Quest, SteamVR, PS VR2, Viveport, and Pico platforms.
