Many previous reports revealed the most important details about Apple's upcoming iPhone 14 series, which is expected to be released in September 2022.

According to rumors, the upcoming Apple lineup will feature a complete redesign with significant differences from the current iPhone 13 series, as well as some new features.

The leaks claim that Apple will abandon the front camera notch for iPhone 14 phones next year, and it is expected that Apple will remove the screen notch that houses the front camera and the Face ID sensor, and the company will replace it with a punch-hole design in the screen.

According to Apple's plan, the punch-hole design will only be available on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, while the regular iPhone 14 will retain the notch design.

Apple will not bring Touch ID under the screen to iPhone phones until 2023, according to rumors, which means the iPhone 14 series will not get it.

Some iPhone 14 series models, according to rumors, will not have a rear camera bump. Due to the device's slim design and the thickness of the main camera components, iPhones currently have a noticeable camera bump.

Significant improvements to the front camera may be included in the iPhone 14 phones, with the most significant change being an update to the front camera's autofocus.

The main camera sensor in the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be upgraded to 48 megapixels, which is larger than the 12-megapixel sensor in the iPhone 12 devices, and the iPhone 14's video camera system will be upgraded to support recording 8K videos for the first time.

It is also expected that the iPhone 14 series, like the 12 and 13, will not have a version with a small screen, or what Apple refers to as the mini.
